Who We Are
Taupō Timebank is a charitable organisation that fosters community resilience, self-sufficiency, and connection through hands-on education and local initiatives. We run practical programmes such as Young Pioneers (for children aged 7–15), Upskillz (for school leavers), and seasonal workshops that teach skills like gardening, bushcraft, cooking, and preserving. We also operate a local community school, host regular markets to support local growers and makers, and create opportunities for people to share knowledge, build confidence, and strengthen community ties across the Taupō district.
