🌱 GARDEN GATHERING 🌱

We’re excited to launch the very first Garden Gathering at the gardens — a new community day focused around sharing knowledge, practical skills, connection and good vibes.

This is our first attempt at creating something a little different. While there’ll be coffee, food, a car boot sale out the front and activities happening throughout the day, the heart of this gathering is really about people sharing what they know with others in the community.

Throughout the day we’ll have simple “101 Basics” workshops running on things like:

🌿 Tinctures

💧 Hydroponics

🐓 Chickens

🫙 Bottling & preserving

🪡 Sewing & mending

🌱 Compost & worm farming

🍞 Sourdough

✨ Astrology

…plus kids activities running throughout the day including scavenger hunts, catapults and bivvy building.

The vision is to create a regular monthly gathering where local people can share skills, ideas, wisdom and practical knowledge in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

We want this to grow into something truly community-led over time — with more people running workshops, sharing passions, teaching beginners and helping build stronger local connections.

We’re also looking for a couple of friendly helpers/supervisors for the kids activities area on the day 🙌
